More and more over the last couple of years I've wondered if I'm spreading myself thin, to borrow a phrase 'Jack of all trades, master of none' i.e. I do so many things I can't devote enough time to any of them. I have friends who have one or two interests and they're pretty damn good at them, but it seems to take over their whole life and I feel that though I'd enjoy that, I'd become bored at some point with doing the same things again and again. I was thinking about my own hobbies and rather than a few, I have loads of things I try to follow and keep my hand into.Here are a few of the things I have an interest in and invest some time in every single week. While I was away last week, I watched the second series of Life on Mars. All I can say is, absolutely amazing. I love watching things on DVD rather than on TV as it means that I can watch it continually without breaks, without missing things because of time. John Simm is excellent in this, so much better than in Doctor Who, I can't wait to go back through his back catalogue and pick up some more of his work. Philip Glenister was excellent and I can't wait to see him in 'Ashes to Ashes' although the person that they cast opposite him is going to have to have a character as strong as Sam Tyler, the Actress is going to have to be excellent and believable and above all, it makes you wonder how they'll bring this second person out of their coma. I can't wait to see it next year, lets hope that they can repeat the magic.

I watched the last episode of The West Wing last night, Seven Seasons, over 140 Episodes, many wonderful characters and situations. Don't want to spoil anyone else's experience, LOTS of spoilers I've got to admit that I had a tear in my eye as the last ever episode finished and a lot of things were tied off. CJ and Danny got together, Sam Returned Donna and Josh got together Toby was Pardoned Mallory left something for President Bartlett. President Santos took the Oath and became President. I know a lot of people feel that it jumped the shark when Aaron Sorkin left, and the Fifth Season was disappointing, but after the Sixth Season I went back to watch the Fifth again and while it's not up to the standard of other Seasons, there are some fantastic episodes in there. I'm going to miss that fact that I will never ever see a New episode of The West Wing. I remember seeing an early episode and becoming hooked, I've spent a lot of money buyi...
